Ideas & Innovation Engineered to Perfection

TSI Yarns develops and processes air jet textured, commingled and interlaced continuous fiber and spun yarns to precise custom specifications.

Our development process starts with identifying and evaluating basic fiber chemistry characteristics and sourcing options.  This includes reviewing opportunities for domestic vs. imported supply, and virgin vs. recycled materials.  For Department of Defense (DoD) and related markets this often also means identifying and qualifying competitive Berry Amendment or Kissell Amendment compliant components.  Sourcing is an important step even in situations when we commission texture a client's fiber - Our added technical knowledge and market exposure yields advantages for even the most experienced fiber buyers.

Development continues with a review of our database of 10,000 core process specifications.  We apply our air jet technologies expertise to leverage this baseline detail to create and test a tailored range of material and manufacturing process options.  The result is a final design that is optimized to meet the performance and value criteria required for each project.  Scheduling for manufacture follows successful client acceptance trials.

Adherence to a rigorous ISO 9001 quality assurance program throughout procurement and manufacturing yields consistent in-spec yarns that our clients know they can trust.
